Behold our Lord
Come together as a regional community of faith for a historic Eucharistic celebration and BEHOLD the true presence of our Lord Jesus Christ!
Gather with us on the evening of May 4, 2024 on the north lawn at the National World War I Museum and Memorial across from Union Station in Kansas City. It is a place of community, celebration, city pride and, as we experienced in February, a place where we are reminded of our broken world and our desperate need for God’s healing and mercy.
There is no better time to BEHOLD our Lord.
This free, public outdoor event is a gathering of the "one holy catholic and apostolic Church," from the Diocese of Kansas City-St. Joseph and the Archdiocese of Kansas City in Kansas. BEHOLD KC will include Mass, Confession, nationally-recognized live musical talent, local choirs and the
largest Eucharistic adoration opportunity in our city in more than 80 years.

Ten Thousand Villages Shopping Event
Thursday, May 2 from 3:00-7:00 pm
Our RIM committee will receive a portion of the sales generated during this time. Stop by to pick up Mother's Day, Communion, wedding, and graduation gifts and support fair trade and the work of our RIM committee!

Heart to Heart Hygiene Kit Assembly
Tuesday, May 28
5:00-7:00 pm
We'll drive to their distribution center to assemble over 1,000 kits that will be distributed around the world! Watch for a sign up! We hope 50 people will sign up so we can make 3,000 hygiene kits in 2 hours!
If you can't make it on the 28th, you are welcome to join the free community event on Saturday, May 11, 2024. The event includes family-friendly activities such as: 45-minute hygiene kit assembly sessions, tours of the mobile medical trucks, hands-only CPR demonstrations, a disaster response medical field clinic, and other interactive experiences. All programs will offer demonstrations or other active experiences corresponding to a fun passport card, offering guidance and exciting giveaways! Humanitarian Day is a perfect opportunity for families to join us and learn about being a humanitarian on May 11!
