Stewardship

Stewardship is the use of God-given resources for the accomplishment of God-given objectives. Stewardship begins and ends with the understanding of God's ownership of all.

At St. Francis Xavier Parish, we acknowledge that we all have a baptismal responsibility to be good stewards of God's gifts to us. Whether it is serving on a committee, cleaning the church, assisting in sacramental prep, or financially contributing, we are all called to share what God has given to us to build the Kingdom of God right here and now.

Every spring St. Francis Xavier embraces the call to be good stewards by celebrating Stewardship Weekend. Our community is asked to make a commitment to the parish through ministry opportunities and financial giving.

"As Christian stewards, we receive God's gifts gratefully, cultivate them responsibly, share them lovingly in justice with others, and return them with increase to the Lord."
