Financial Giving

Sharing the resources that God has blessed us with is one of our calls to stewardship. Money and all the things we possess are gifts from God that we are asked to care for and generously share for our own benefit and the good of others. It is important for us to share our money for two reasons: first, because all the good things that God has made (including money) are meant to be shared, and second, because each of us has a need to give.

Each week at Mass, along with the bread and wine, we present the collection during our offertory. This is significant in our recognition that our resources are gifts.

At St. Francis Xavier, as a part of our annual Stewardship Weekend, we ask parishioners to fill out a Pledge Card to project their annual giving for the coming fiscal year (July 1 – June 30). This pledge allows SFX Finance Committee to budget for the ministries of our parish. If you missed Stewardship Weekend, you can make a pledge at anytime.
