Please check back often as we will update this information as soon as it becomes available. Unless otherwise noted, please call 816-523-5115, ext. 211 for more information and to volunteer.

Morning Glory Cafe

We have received a request for 10 volunteers on the second Thursday morning, once a month, at the Morning Glory Cafe, a food ministry program of the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception. This is a unique opportunity for the early riser! If you cannot make the 2nd Thursday of them month, there are other days for you to volunteer as well. This food ministry for the homeless has been in operation for over 30 years and the Breakfast Cafe started nearly 3 years ago. Contact parishioner Steve Bruns, Coordinator of Morning Glory Cafe at 816-842-0416, ext 112 or email Steve for further information.

Catholic Charities TurnAround Program

Please consider donating new packaged women’s undergarments for the Catholic Charities TurnAround Program. They have recently been awarded a Department of Labor Grant to serve formerly incarcerated women re-entering our community and have asked us for assistance in gathering these much appreciated and needed things. Please leave for Colleen Simon at the back of Church, or at the Parish Office as you are able. Thank you so much for your help!
