Feeding our need for Justice

Fr. Matt Ruhl, SJ will lead the group in prayer, sharing, and reflection over the newest Papal encyclical on Catholic Social Teaching, Caritas in Veritate (The Truth of Charity). Fr. Matt will focus on the Catholic need to re-appropriate “charity” through Scripture and Tradition. He will speak about Catholic Charities’ National Campaign to Reduce Poverty and the Cycling for Change project. A simple meal of soup, bread, and water will be provided to all who attend. As a favor to Mother Nature, we ask that you bring your own bowl, utensil, and cup. A free-will offering will go entirely to the Catholic Charities’ Cycling for Change project.
