Food Pantry
The Food Pantry is open M, W, Th, F 9:30 am to 1:00 pm. The direct number is 816-381-9174. We will make exceptions for clients who need to come earlier or later. Volunteers are present to either sack groceries, answer phone calls, or make deliveries to clients on the days we are open. We get our food delivered on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month. Volunteers help unload the food and put it away. Food Pantry Coordinators are Tim Driscoll, Laura Taylor-Driscoll, Carol Murphy & Therese Roseburrough. The direct number is 816-381-9174.
Food Pantry Collection
We designate one weekend monthly for the collection of items. However, donations are accepted and encouraged at any time. Donations may be brought to the chapel hallway. Please call the parish office to arrange for donations of perishable items.
Financial donations are always appreciated and used for additional food purchases and other client needs. You may put a financial donation in an envelope marked “Emergency Assistance” and either drop it in a weekend church collection basket or mail it to the parish office. Please make checks payable to SFX Social Ministries. Your donations will be reported on your annual church statement.
Recycle large paper grocery bags with handles and plastic bags with handles by donating them to our parish food pantry. We have an ongoing need. You may place them on the parish office porch at any time or bring them with your food donations. Thank you for your continued generosity.
